Dr. Michael Enman

Dr. Michael Enman received his doctorate in applied psychology from the University of Calgary. He has advanced training in Couples Therapy (Gottman Method), and advanced certification in the areas of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Dr. Enman has provided psychological assessment, therapy and clinical consultation for more than 15 years. He has taught at a number of Canadian Universities, given expert witness testimony in Alberta and Saskatchewan, and provided consultation/continuing professional development to family physicians across southern Alberta. Currently, provides training and supervision of psychology residents (via the Calgary Clinical Consortium) and psychology graduate students enrolled at the University of Calgary.

Dr. Enman’s practice specializes in assessment (i.e. psycho-educational testing) and in therapy. His assessment interests/ expertise lay in learning difficulties and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in adults and youth.

His therapy interests include: emotional distress and /or disregulation (e.g., Depression, Anxiety, Anger), adult/teen ADHD, Substance use/abuse, Stress (including PTSD) and relationship challenges. He works with individuals (children, youth and adults), and with couples (including couples impacted by substance use/abuse).
